Hi, I'm Stu, a Design Lead & builder from Yorkshire.

I'm a self-taught product designer with nearly 20 years of experience across agency and product. I'm currently at Goodnotes shaping the future of digital writing, and before that spent a decade at Hudl solving complex design problems in the sports industry across web, iOS, Android and macOS.

Alongside designing, I'm an avid builder. Technically minded, front-end competent and fluent with AI tools like Cursor and Claude Code. Prior to LLMs, I self-taught SwiftUI to the point of shipping my own apps. I care deeply about craft, move fast when it matters, and I'm never really done learning.
