Hi, I'm Stu, a Staff Designer & code tinkerer from Yorkshire.

I am currently helping to create the worlds best digital writing experience at Goodnotes. Before that I spent a decade at Hudl solving some of sports most complex design problems across web, iOS, Android and macOS.

Alongside designing, I'm an avid builder. Technically minded, front-end competent and fluent with AI tools like Cursor and Claude Code. Prior to LLMs, I self-taught SwiftUI to the point of shipping my own apps. I care deeply about craft, move fast when it matters, and I'm never really done learning.
